Our Staff

All members of our team at Raynham Veterinary Hospital, Inc. dedicate themselves to making sure your pets are as healthy as possible. We understand that your pet is a part of your family, and when you bring them here, they become a part of ours, too. Whether they are coming in for a checkup or they are boarding with us for a week, your pet always has our attention and care. Below, meet our family-friendly staff. Dr. Karen Reamsnyder

Owner/Veterinarian | In Practice for 40 Years Dr. Karen Reamsnyder is a graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University. She is an integral part of the local community, participating in many local events. In 1985, she founded Raynham Veterinary Hospital in a converted barn attached to her house on N. Main Street. Since then, the hospital has grown in size and prestige. In 1998 the practice moved to our present South Street East location. When she has free time, Dr. Reamsnyder loves Celtic music, reading, spending time with friends and family, and especially, traveling. After 41 years of sharing her home with multiple cats and dogs (at one time, there were 10 cats and 5 dogs), she is currently without a companion, but on the lookout for the right one.

Dr. Lelia King

Veterinarian | In Practice for 16 Years Dr. Lelia King graduated from Tufts Veterinary School in 2001. Prior to that, she earned a B.S. in Biology. She is currently the Program Director of Veterinary Technology at North Shore Community College. She and her long-term partner, Adam, have a lovely daughter, Laina, two cats - Mrs. Frisby and Skippy Jon Jones - and a 14-year-old American Eskimo dog, Alaska. When there is free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, and reading. She currently works part time at Raynham Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Laurie Buche

Veterinarian | In Practice for 27 Years Dr. Buche graduated from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University in 1990. Prior to that she had received a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. Her areas of interest in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, behavior and physical rehabilitation. Dr. Buche is a certified canine rehabilitation therapist. She and her husband have two wonderful children, Alex and Jennifer, as well as two wild and crazy cats, Shade and Rose, and a Shetland Sheepdog named Viva. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, biking, swimming, and training and competing in agility.

Kim daSilva

CVT / Technician Supervisor | In Practice for 22 Years Kim joined Raynham Veterinary Hospital in 1995 as a technician assistant. Over the years, through on-the-job training and multiple technician courses, she has achieved the status of Certified Veterinary Technician and also become the Technician Supervisor at the practice. Kim enjoys learning new techniques and procedures, along with working with the doctors and staff in helping to meet the needs of our clients and their pets. She is married to Michael, has two grown daughters, Sara and Jill, and enjoys the company of her two Chihuahuas, Pego and Talulah, and her cat, Kit-ten.

Technicians/Assistants

Kim, Jana, Jessica J, Jessica S, and Angela are here to assist our doctors in the care of your pets. They are devoted to keeping your pets healthy and treating each animal as their own. They share a combined years of experience.

Reception

Sue, Debi, Courtney, Susan, Jennifer, and Tiffany are very sympathetic to the needs of you and your pet. They are always happy to respond to your questions and concerns, both over the phone and when you arrive. Together our front office team has over 50 years of service.

Pam Nieves

Certified Groomer Pam has 20 years of experience. She will ensure your pet's appearance makes you very happy and that there are no skin or ear conditions that need a doctor’s attention. If there are, she will consult with our staff doctors.

Kennel

Our wonderful kennel staff, Amanda, Becca, Danielle, and Tiffany, are responsible for more than just keeping our patient and boarding areas meticulously clean. They also ensure the mental and emotional well-being of your pets as they board with us.
